Meet up: Arduinos, LED lights and motion sensors: We want to continue our exploration of the question…What is the intersection between virtual planes and physical productions?and build on our work from the Tate Lates!

Things we need to cover in this meeting:

  • Update on meeting with Tate Exchange Production Team
  • Skype meetings with external collaborators (these will happen at different times throughout the meeting)
  • Map all the current proposals and activities we have been planning to date and start to identify the main incubator provocations - its important that incubator provocations are open to explore all areas of the subject matter e.g Movement & Technology camp could open general debates in lots of associated areas for debate e.g how movement is tracked by personal data, movement as in migration, lack of movement caused by technology. 
  • Start to pencil in a draft programme each day at Tex 
  • We also welcome individuals who are newcomers who are interested in getting involved and helping develop Tate Exchange 2018 projects
  • We need to allocated - form groups who look after/design & decide the format of event activities like the welcome area, way finding and also we are looking for members to take on the un-conference space.

WE NEED YOU – Help us create an indoor growing space

.... Wil start life in the storeroom in the Chelsea Makerspace. The space will then be dismantled and transported to the Tate Exchange in March to function as a small, evolving, discussion space come leafy hangout. 

We’re calling out to anyone who wants to get involved in designing and/or making the space.

16:00 - We will start at 4pm with some free drinks & nibbles (do the reflection bit) in the MakerSpace at Chelsea 

18:00 - Private View: Thursday 8 February 2018, 6 – 8pm Chelsea Staff Exhibition The Triangle Gallery

Remaining hardcore can then go on 'M Block' The Morpeth Arms
