How to join/get involved & join mailing list

How to join/get involved with the DMC:

  1. We focus on specific Research & Development projects through weekly meet-ups 
  2. We work in different small groups of shared interest 
  3. There is no formal teaching or workshops delivered to the DMC R&D or is it aligned to any UAL course
  4. We learn from each other through mutually beneficial exchange & support
  5. All DMC interest R&D groups come together a couple times a month to share progress.
  6. DMC hold social evenings, gatherings, drinks & informal get-togethers
  7. DMC sometimes hold open events for the public, showcase events etc 
  8. Ongoing contribution to the DMC is essential for success of R&D project development and associated events  
  9. Those members who are most actively involved are offered DMC opportunities, events, exhibitions, workshops etc.
  10. The main way to join/be part of the DMC is either:
    1. a UAL student, staff or alumni 
    2. DMC do work with non-UAL individuals and organisations as collaborators and partners, please email c.follows@arts.ac.uk to find out more

What does Knowledge Exchange mean to you?

In March 2018, the Digital Maker Collective transformed the Tate Exchange, 5th floor of Tate Modern into a large public tech innovation hub, a six day residency entitled ‘Arts Work of the Future’. See all DMC Tate Exchange case study videos here.
