My name is Fernanda Bernardi, I´m a 3D fashion designer on a mission to digitise the fashion industry. I believe that fashion's digital transformation and 3D implementation is a priority as it reduces waste of resources, time, miss-communication and leads the way to on-demand manufacturing and immersive experiences.

I hold a Master degree in Fashion Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the London College of Fashion. My research project has been entirely dedicated to fashion’s digital transformation and how 3D technologies redefine the workflow of a fashion brand. Additionally, I have 13 years of experience in the fashion industry with in-depth knowledge of design, product construction, pattern making, fabric fibres and fashion's supply chain.

DMC & Me:

My relation with the DMC started when I first attended to Digital Fashion Immersive Round Table that was organised by them. I was amazed to see how they could transform a meeting into an immersive experience that would go further than the traditional 2D [monotonous] web experience. Since that time, I felt the need for experimenting with XR and joined DMC.

Being a DMC member allowed me not only to learn by doing but also to experience the sense of collaborative community where all members are keen to help, discuss and share their latest experiments. Our meetings are inspiring, thought-provoking and innovative. #longliveDMC
