Studying Contemporary Theatre at Wimbledon Collage of Arts. Passionate about experimenting with new technologies that assist in live performance.

I'm a second year undergraduate at Wimbledon Collage of Arts studying Contemporary Theatre. I'm passionate about experimenting with new technologies that assist in live performance with the ambition to connect more of our world through immersive story telling and accessible art. I believe that virtual reality coupled with elements found in game design have the limitless possibilities to make the imagination real, therefore giving the ability to really put someone in the shoes of another, needless to say I walk around a lot.

DMC & Me:

My first encounter with the DMC was by accidently stumbling into their Uni to Unicorns event at the Tate Modern in March 2020 right before the first lockdown of the Covid-19 pandemic. The end of my end of my first year was disappointing and the start of my second year I wasn't enjoying it because the shift to online was poorly implemented. I wanted to meet new people and networking and building friends. It just so happened I saw the DMC had started hosting their meetings online in a digital space and so I joined in late September unsure what to expect.

I can tell you now, I've made some really great friends always willing to support me as well as be open to any discussion about arts relationship to technology. Chris Follows has helped me understand what I want to explore in my performance practice and to have that focus is great. I am encouraged to go away and bring back things to explore, and show what I've built in new programs I otherwise wouldn't otherwise look at like Blender and Unity on platforms I didn't even know about like Alt Space and Frame.
