Technology is rapidly transforming the way we live, learn, work and interact, how do we turn digital overload into a positive & creative force? Image from the event at Tate Modern, Tate Exchange 8 March 2017.

Collective Base Camp

At the centre of the event will be a large participatory Digital Maker Base Camp, a space to develop agile and experimental projects led by members of the Collective.

Visitor feedback included:

- We’re at the state of an entirely new era of technology.
- Really interesting to see the accessibility of this technology.
- I want to see where it goes next. Thanks.
- Really great experience. Very weird staying still and moving and very enjoyable and kind of trippy.
- It is really good to see a connection between art and technology.
- I look forward to seeing how your worlds develop. I’d like to engage, experience it with others so it’s not so isolated!

The camp evolved and responded to themes, public interactions

Our invited guest maker activities, interventions, debates and performances.

Visitors joined the Digital Maker Collective and guests in exploring related connections across digital projects, concepts and technologies through informal student-led critiques, debate and reflection.
