Subvert and confront digital friction caused by technology overload, through creativity, experiments, performances, interventions, and conversation
We had another fantastic team of staff & students from across UAL colleges, alumni, industry guest and artists who arrived at 10am and created pulled together to create an amazing event for the 420 visiting public enjoyed between 12.00–17.00. See the full Programme on 8th March 2017.

Collective Base Camp
At the centre of the event will be a large participatory Digital Maker Base Camp, a space to develop agile and experimental projects led by members of the Collective.
Visitor feedback included:

The camp evolved and responded to themes, public interactions
Our invited guest maker activities, interventions, debates and performances.
Visitors joined the Digital Maker Collective and guests in exploring related connections across digital projects, concepts and technologies through informal student-led critiques, debate and reflection.

The Digital Maker Collective are a group of artists, designers, staff and students from the University of the Arts London (UAL) who explore emerging digital technologies in arts, education, society and the creative industries.
