Movement & Technology: generate sounds through your body movements
Movement & Technology: generate sounds through your body movements.
How can we use technology to translate human movement and touch into sounds? An exploration into Touchboard and Picap technology to generate new types of interactive installations and artwork.
Names of those involved in the Team

What Movement and Technology will be doing:
-
Using Picap and Touchboard technology to test how human interaction and touch can be integrated into artworks of the future.
-
Inviting audience to an interactive experience.
-
Through touching a variety of conductive objects the audience will be able to trigger a range of 50 sounds especially produced for event.
-
We will also run a workshop to demonstrate how the Touchboard technology and conductive paint can be used as a springboard for a new type of interactive artworks of the future. Participants will be able to make their own drawings that will incorporate touch sensors that trigger a range of sounds.
-
We will run another workshop demonstrating how we can use found objects with conductivity to make a digital-analogue instrument
-
We will run another workshop demonstrating how one can take a piece of sound and distort and bend it to the maximum.
