What is your water choice?

We aim to Investigate the political consequences of water preferences and the challenge of making ethical choices in everyday life.

Our augmented reality project  “What is your water choice?” will walk you through water choices made by two households, the interesting data behind their preferences and the potential environmental consequences it follows, only to realised there’s no perfect solution to their basic human right: the right to access clean water.

At the end of the journey the audience is invited to engage with this subject and will answer a survey to express they stand on this, so collectively, we come can up with better ideas for a sustainable future.

Programme & Activities:

Narration of different aspects implied when choosing to drink bottled water compared with filtered tap water, shown through a AR experience mapped on the floor.
The survey feedbacks collected from the audience will serve to develop a further collaborative project about these moral stances.

Invited speakers:

Fungi Laboratory by E Yi Chang (2018)
A recycling system based on real science and environmental situations. It shows the process of fungi digesting plastic bottles and turning into safe and edible mushroom.
A speculative project to solve bottle water disposal issues.
