With no prospect of a physical meet-ups and having never collaborated virtually before, the Digital Maker Collective (DMC) who normally held physical meet-ups in Camberwell, London needed to find a new creative virtual space to meet. Explore the virtual space that was home to the Digital Maker Collective's IAM Weekend 21 event, provided by the Responsive Fashion Institute, in which they explored the subjects of digital fashion and sustainability with a panel of expert speakers!
The Digital Maker Collective proudly presents, 'The Emporer's New Clothes', a special event for IAM Weekend 21!
This culminated in an immersive digital fashion showcase, unveiling a design responding to real data on the climate crisis, and created by members of the collective. We invited the public inside the virtual space to discuss the environmental and social impact of Digital Fashion 🌟
